Newscast+: Our newscasters, Fritz Brauner and Jennifer Pence, were off on assignment so were not able to deliver the news.
Fellowship: Having dispensed with a newscast, we had extra time to enjoy time with our fellow Rotarians.
Program: Nancy Bush introduced our speaker, Melissa Platte. Melissa has been the Executive Director of the Mental Health Association of San Mateo County since 2003. She discussed how the COVID pandemic has increased anxiety and depression for many residents of San Mateo County. She stressed that these are serious conditions. At the conclusion of her talk, she noted that exercise and being outdoors go a long way to helping with these feelings. For her full presentation watch the recording.
