Invocation: We meet today as Rotarians and citizens who share a common goal to serve our community, to use our resources wisely and well, to represent all members of our community fairly, to make decisions that promote the common good. We recognize our responsibility to the past and the future, and the rights and needs of both individuals and the community. As trusted servants, we seek blessings on our deliberations, and on our efforts here today, May we act wisely and well.

Introducing Mitch Juricich who through his company will be assisting us at this year's Golf Tournament. Mitch was born and raised in San Francisco and lives on the peninsula with his wife of 35+ years and their two children. He's a veteran of the local sports media, having covered professional and amateur sports for both the print and electronic mediums. In 1996 Mitch started Tournament Event Enterprises (T.E.E.) a successful out-source provider of customized and simplified golf tournaments and events. “T.E.E.” has already been involved in well over 200 events that have raised in excess of $3,500,000! In 2001 he, along with his partner John Abendroth, were honored at the annual California Golf Writer’s Dinner at Pebble Beach with the prestigious “Good Guy Award”. Also at the same ceremony were such notables as Clint Eastwood and Tiger Woods. In 2002, the Northern California Section of the PGA recognized Mitch and John as their “Media Representatives of the Year”.His passion is golf, and to that end, he created and wrote the concept for Hooked On Golf, a program that is now seen on Fox Sports Net Bay Area, you can catch Mitch on Saturday’s via KNBR 680. Sports Illustrated called his radio program ‘the most successful of the few golf radio shows in existence.’ We are thrilled the Mitch will be our Auctioneer at our upcoming Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser on October 21st at the beautiful Green Hills Country Club.

Wine Needed
If you are like me, you probably are storing a fabulous wine that maybe not be your preferred style but you know its gaining value as it ages.
Reminder our Golf Tournament Committee is asking all members to remember next week to either bring 1-bottle of wine with “confirmed” value of $60.00 or greater or Chris will accept checks, cash or credit card payment of $40.00 and we will apply this towards purchase of special wines which will be applied to the live or silent auctions.
Thank you to our members who have already brought amazing wine for the Golf Tournament Auction or provided their $40.00 check for us to curate a great wine.
