International Causes Supported by Burlingame Rotary

Today we are excited to welcome two amazing speakers who will talk about how our club has impacted two International Communities. 

Dr. Jo Whitehouse returns to update us on Health In Harmony’s work in Borneo and Madagascar to achieve their vision: “Healthy People, Healthy Planet." 

Marlene Cowan will show us how our club's giving is boosting impoverished women and children in Uganda with a new ambulance and expanded medical services. Author Marlene E. Cowan, past president of the Rotary Club of Los Altos, recently released her book “Stories Behind ‘The Los Altos Story’: Rotary Volunteers Confront HIV/AIDS.”
