Our next meeting will be a social meeting on Wednesday, May 22 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the recently renovated Poplar Creek Grill.
We will be dark on Wednesday, May 29th (Memorial Day Week and 5th Wednesday of the month.)
Our next lunch meeting will be on Wednesday, June 5th at 12:15pm at Poplar Creek. Our speaker will be our own Emily Mathews who will speak about Team River Runner and the experiences of disabled racers.
Let’s Review What Happened Last Week:
At our meeting last Wednesday, we were joined by Emily Beach for her third "guest of the club" visit and former Burlingame Rotarian, Tom Mohr. At the meeting we presented our annual Teacher of the Year Awards to Charlie Tinkham of Burlingame Intermediate School and Jim Burke of Burlingame High School.
Our speaker was Michelle Beasley from the San Mateo Parks Foundation who provided us with information on the county parks in San Mateo and the history behind them.
