Our next meeting is a community service meeting on Wednesday, October 24th at Sonrisas (formerly Apple Tree) Dental from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. We will meet at Sonrisas' office (430 N. El Camino, San Mateo), tour the facility, prepare goody bags for clients and have some refreshments.
We will be dark on October 31st (5th Wednesday of the month and Halloween).
On November 1st 37 North Restaurant (Doubletree Airport Hotel) will host a Five Course Dinner and Wine Tasting benefiting Burlingame Rotary. Call 650-373-2237 to make reservations. Cost is $125 per person.

Last week our District 5150 governor, Jayne Hulbert, conducted a town hall session with our membership. She addressed how Rotary is dealing with the challenges facing our organization including informing us about new membership classifications available to clubs.

November 14 - Lunch Meeting at Poplar Creek at 12:15pm. Our speakers will be our three clergy members (Michael Mahoney, Jay Miller, Paul Watermulder) with their annual Thanksgiving presentation.
