Our next meeting is September 26th and it is a social meeting that will be held at CuriOdyssey (1651 Coyote Point Drive, San Mateo) from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.  It is a joint meeting with San Mateo Rotary.
Let’s Review What Happened Last Week:
We had a hilarious newscast delivered by Dennis Zell.  Kathy Schmidt from the Burlingame Neighborhood Network was our speaker and she spoke about the importance of knowing your neighbors especially during emergencies and in times of disaster recovery.
Golf Tournament and Club Barbecue:
Our annual golf tournament and barbecue is Monday, October 1st.  You can sign-up for either or both on our web page - www.burlingamerotary.org.   The barbecue is a mandatory event.  All members must pay for whether they attend or not so why not attend.   Besides your annual dues, the barbecue is the only other mandatory expenditure for Burlingame Rotary members.
Helping North Carolina:
Rotary District 7680 has established a collaborative Disaster Relief Fund at The Rotary Foundation to assist with helping North and South Carolina residents recover from Hurrican Florence and the flooding it caused.
