Welcome to Burlingame Rotary Year 2018-19:
Our first meeting of the new Rotary year is Wednesday, July 11th at 12:15pm at Poplar Creek. We have a fun speaker lined up in Austin Carr, a stand-up comedian and son & grandson of members of our club. Please join us for an enjoyable meeting.
At the meeting, I will also spend a few minutes reviewing the my plans for 2018-19 and our focus on the Three C's:
- Camaraderie and Membership
- Community Service
- Charitable Giving (focusing on Scholarships, Local Community, Student Exchanges and International)
On July 11th, I will be reporting on our charitable giving activities and our successes in the past year with charitable giving and fundraising. At future meetings we will talk about Camaraderie & Membership and Community Service.
Let’s Review What Happened Last Week:
Last week the club's meeting was completing a community service project at the Peninsula Boys and Girls Club. We indexed and categorized books in the club's library. Below are pictures of our volunteer librarians at work.
