Welcome to Burlingame Rotary Club

Established 1925

Pledge and Invocation

Super greeting-table Rotarian, Sheryl Young, led the pledge of allegiance today.  Our walking encyclopedia maven, Michael Kimball, gave an inspiring though super extemporaneous invocation.

Visiting Rotarians and Guests
Gary Chow, from the South San Francisco club attended today.  Cheri Carr introduced her mother-in-law, Jane Carr wife of the lovingly remembered Bob Carr.

Pledge and Invocation

The Pledge was led by Mark Johnson and Fritz Brauner gave a spontaneous invocation, praying for strong leaders in future terms.

Visiting Rotarians & Guests:  James Johnson, visiting from the Irvine Rotary Club. Burlingame guest of the club was Lorie Meryl, Private Banker with Boston Private Bank.

Pledge and Invocation

President Mike called the meeting to order.  He asked Alex Buljan to lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance even though the flag seemed to be missing or obscured.  Paul Watermulder then provided the invocation for the lunch and meeting.

Visiting Rotarians & Guests: Visiting Rotarian Suni Arora of the San Mateo Club joined us.  Also in attendance was former Burlingame Rotarian Ken Housley.  Former member Phillip Larson partook of the meeting and meal, as well.

Pledge and Invocation

Our second monthly breakfast meeting was called to order promptly at 7:30 by Past President Fritz.  President Mike was MIA.  Coming in slightly late, Mark Johnson was tapped to lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance.  Father Michael delivered our invocation.

Visiting Rotarians & Guests:  Joining us from the relatively new San Francisco Evening Club was  Alan Test.

Italian Student Exchange Luncheon

There was no pledge of allegiance to the flag at today's luncheon.

It was very exciting to be invited as guests of honor to Burlingame High School's Alumnae Room to  to sit down for lunch with students and visiting Italian students, courtesy of Sapore Restaurant, Burlingame as a thank you to our club for supporting the exchange progam.

A great time was held by all....

Pledge and Invocation

Long time Burlingame Rotarian, Duffy Offield lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance.

The verbose Peter Comaroto gave us his inspirational thoughts and reminded us to be thankful. We are very thankful for you, Peter.

Pledge and Invocation

President Mike, healthy once again, was there to lead our inaugural breakfast meeting.

He called on Cary Koh to begin with the Pledge of Allegiance.  He then asked Father Michael to give an invocation.

Guests and Visiting Rotarians

There were no guests or visiting Rotarians.  It may take others awhile to get this new schedule down.  Exciting turn-out for our first breakfast meeting. The turn-out from our members was quite robust.  Many of us must be early risers....

Pledge and Invocation

With President Mike missing in action (home with a cold - get better soon) Past President Mary Murphy leaped into action as President for the day, asking an unknown person to lead the pledge of allegiance.

Bob Doerr volunteered to give the invocation and did a thoughtful job of reminding us to take care of each other. He also took the opportunity to welcomed the children of the Crowden Music School, Berkeley and the Director of Music, Eugene Sor.

Pledge of Allegiance and Innvocation

President Mike, bake from celebrating his birthday in Los Angeles, asked Jim Shypertt to lead us in
the Pledge of Allegiance.

Cheri Carr gave a very inspirational Valentine Day invocation reminding us to take nothing in life for granted and to value the friends and friendships we have. She charged each us to go home and express our love to that special someone, and today is the perfect day for it....Happy Valentine's Day.
Burlingame Rotary held its 6th Annual Golf Tournament at Peninsula Golf & Country Club on 10/2/17 to raise money for Scholarships.
